history's lessons from 2 world wars

ERA of mercantile colonisation not sustainable- expoentially less so as the empires applied engine powere
lesson from world war 1 - cant take over land of losing side - need to free peoples to redevelop
situation after world war 2
offering west germany chance to redevelop was possible (eg marshall plan followed by EU)

offering japan chance to redevelop was possible but would take huge generosity on part of USA (eg marshall plan followed by freeing south korea; folowed by celebrating japan engineers (faciliated by deming) offered whole coastal belt opportunity to trade innovations world wanted in electronic enginnering and civil engineering (transportuation container shipping, bullet trains) -

main problems
recoginising 3 expoential crises from colonisation:
external colonisation -taking over other peoples countries (eg britain had taken over most populos nation india) or their own trading positiions (eg bfritaion had told china second last nation to accept opium as a traidng currency- -china had refised and closed itself to the world for over a centiry)

internal colonisation (destroying native people  and or using slavery to develop a massive region)

a nation whose engineers were developing fast but which without colonies had to go to war with neoghbours to satisfy resources needed to get bigger

additionally

russia on the winning side was led by stalin whose evil was (almost) equal to hitler - the economist main style rule of mid twentieth century was: report whatever helped the russian people outlast stalin

various countries that had been annexed during world war 1 which it was deemed to be non-returnable eg the p;ace that had become known as sisreal

the order in which asian nations could not just gain independence but have unique relative trading advantage to sustain their peopels development - vietnam turned out to require the most american generosity of all- this was the first war that cost huge amount of american lives without a clear win- but it turned out to coincide or casue china's cultural revolution - whilst this revolution was one of the most bloody internal changes of a country ever it led by 1976 to china (one fifth of the world people, and historically to 1500 the most self-determined of beings) being freed to start taduing with the world again

-many second level chalenges came fast and furious after the 1960s thorugh there was a moment of huge hope - the moon race was interpreted round the wprld that anything might be possible; the promise by goirdon moore to keep chips doubling in analytical capaity evet 18 monthys offerend order of magnitude mkore opportunity fpr all than the ole industrail age- what some people now call 4 indsutrial revolutions mapping back 2025's future history

one way to look at the woprld's region is to look at the most populoous nation in each hostorically colonised region - is thos already free both to develo its people and develop win-wins with neighbours - china probaly yes; india maybe; nigeria and brazil probably not; being biggest in population is one varibale- being biggest in land or oil is another;

what we need to understand is that the 4 revolutikins now converging around moores chpips havongh ,kore "brain cells" than huimans value digital cooperation across bodrers - so who subcointuental mases need to reconcile real cooperation as fast as digital copperation if parnets and gransprents world wide are su=eriously promising to invest in youth as thge sustainability generation

amongst many things we need to do- let girls help ai teacher training assistants of hostory be co-editors of maps showing where we still dont have ppaces where gorls feel/are safe - part of the mircale of 2 nations development - banagldesh and china- is that they were developed aroung chnaging the valuatuioin of gorls to be worth as much as boys- investigating the whole truth of this requires botom-up intelloigence- the harsh reality is that by 1976 china's dispora were 3rd financially strongest in world so could inwardly invest- bangaldesh did not enjoy a wealthy diaspora nior did it enjoy borders that iopen soors to worldwide trade- see tghe sgtarnge position intb has on south asia's coastal belt and understand how bangaldesh had the double short straw of being colonised first by britian and them for another 25 years by (west) Pakistan -the story of bangladesh development out of the colonial era , through 25 pre-digital years in which village emant no access at all to electricity; and then estraordinary leapfrog experiments since 1996 that have accelerated around microsilar and mobile - start with world recird job vcreatir fazle abed - read additional concets suggetsed by muhammad yunus- double check everything from the girls eyes view up as most of the western curriculum of micricredit has not be taught wholly or truly- this shoukd surprise you - all over the worlkd there are examples of fintech freeing peoples and other examples of ist subpriming or bitcoining them - nor has the hosti9rical crisis over paper currencies been transparenmly resolved by professionals who ought to have know contextual history's far more deeply than their dricve to over-standardise and to fake media by speeck being sold off ti vested interests
